CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Multiple injuries in Gratiot head-on crash were reported after two sport utility vehicles collided on Gratiot Avenue, just south of 23 Mile Road, in Macomb County. The crash occurred on Friday, leaving both drivers and two young passengers in one of the vehicles with varying degrees of injuries.

According to a press release from the Chesterfield Township Police Department, the injured included two children, ages 4 and 6, who were passengers in one of the vehicles. All victims were transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed, but the involvement of young children highlights the seriousness of the collision.
