SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Pedestrian suffers critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a multi-car crash in Southfield. Authorities are actively investigating the incident on Monday, February 3, around 2 p.m. at Greenfield Road and the James Couzens Service Drive intersection.

According to officials, the crash happened when a vehicle disregarded a traffic signal, running through the intersection and colliding with another vehicle. The impact sent one of the vehicles into a pedestrian, causing severe injuries. Emergency responders rushed the victim to a Metro Detroit hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment for critical injuries.
